Angelo Bar (CPA)
Angelo Barr recognized his passion for accounting and went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in the subject at the College of the Bahamas (COB). During his time at COB he interned at Deloitte & Touche in the Finance Department performing internal finance functions and client accounting. Upon graduating, he accepted a full-time job offer with Deloitte in the Audit Department and went on to sit the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Exam and successfully completed all four parts in the spring of 2014. As an Audit Senior, Angelo participated in a short-term mobility express program in Deloitte New York. Angelo was also named Associate of the Year 2014-2015.
In an effort to further pursue his career goals, Angelo took advantage of a new job opportunity in the summer of 2016 with Sun Oil Limited. In this new role he was responsible for the financial accounting for Sun Oil Turks and Caicos while also assisting with Sun Oil Bahamas. Here he gained invaluable experience in the oil and gas industry and maintained an exceptional performance record.
Being keen on constant growth and development, Angelo took on a new challenge in July 2018 at Isles of Knight Ltd., a trust and corporate service provider, where he currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
